Based on Primary results this election cycle will be a challenge in the State House as there are way too many Democrats running unopposed and a handful 
of very weak Republicans.

The tally gives republicans a slight edge but as stated, because some of these are weak or uncommitted Republicans like Louise Stutes and David Eastman, control of the House could go either way.   

There is a small amount of hope in the Senate but this body is substantially divided and the real issue is the turncoat Republicans who gave Democrats control last session are not running for re-election. 

Ultimately, the Senate needs to get back to a Republican majority and stop casting their leadership pearls to the Democrat Party with the assistance of Cathy Giessel, Bert Stedman and Gary Stevens who will remain there for at least two more years. Rest assured, Cathy Giessel will make a full court press to become the Senate President once again.
